SWAMP ASS FEVER

About 5 years ago I rolled into the Redneck Riviera after driving non-stop, fueled by white cross and black coffee from Sinaloa. I'd been in Mexico running security for a company there after I had been retired from 30 years of government contract work. I had been to this area back in the early 70s on a job and never forgot about the beautiful island of Perdido Key. The handwriting was on the wall in Sinaloa so I decided to pack my Corvette, grab my go-bag and cash, and find a cool beach shack to rent. Imagine my shock to find endless rows of condos, high rises, tourist traps, insane traffic, and unpleasant, shit faced, sun burned, malodorous tourists. My fond remembrance of this was long gone but for some reason I stayed.

Years ago I was shot in the thigh by a shotgun wielding Federale so I don't get around as good as I used to. So I decided to start this blog to keep myself busy and to document some of the weird shit that goes on here in the Perdido Key and Pensacola areas, and anything else I feel like posting.
